The Nonwovens Research & Innovation Institute (NIRI) is a part of the University of Leeds, and specialise in the development of new textile products and processes, mainly in nonwovens.
The NIRI team includes leading nonwovens specialists providing a unique knowledge of nonwoven materials, technology, products and business. With over fifteen years’ experience in the research & development of nonwovens, NIRI is able to engineer the structural architecture of fibrous materials to meet the required performance parameters.
NIRI also has extensive pilot facilities allowing the manufacture of prototypes and a close network of contacts within the UK's second largest university.
